Wikipedia is calling to all newbie or expert photographers to participate in Wiki Loves Earth. It is an international photographic competition to promote natural heritage sites around the World through Wikimedia projects (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons).
The team from Wiki Loves Earth Nepal; Mr. Pankaj Deo, Mr. Zeetendra, Mr. Bijay Chaurasia
and Mr. Saroj Kumar Dhakal are all set to organize photographic competition here in Nepal.
- Start date: 1st May 2017
- End date: 31st May 2017
- Decision of Competition: 10 June 2017
Cash prizes will be awarded to best three photographs:
- First: Rs. 15,000
- Second: Rs. 10,000
- Third: Rs. 5,000
Other categories:
- Top Contributor (by numbers of photographs): Rs. 5,000
- Top 10 contributors (by number of photographs) will be rewarded with WLE T-shirt and all participants of the competition will be rewarded by certificate of Participation.
