Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur based Sajilo Marmat Sewa is Nepal’s first one stop maintenance solution for business organizations and households. With a tagline “Jaha Samasya, Tyaha, Sajilo” the company aims to provide a professional maintenance service covering a range of services; installation and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, electronic appliances, carpentry services, computer repairs and computer networking under a single roof. The services can be acquired in two ways; Annual maintenance contract and on call.
Sujeet Regmi, Kawish Shrestha, and Pukar Acharya, friends since their KU days, where they always have a passion to start their entrepreneurial journey. But, they were in a dilemma that in which field they want to start up. Hence, during an entrepreneurship course, while pursuing MBA at KUSOM, one of the founders Sujeet Regmi found out that the customers are facing severe problems trying to acquire maintenance services in Kathmandu.

On the other hand, the technicians do not have the right medium to acquire customers. Thus, an idea emerged out of a problem and ended up launching Sajilo Marmat Sewa (SMS).
Market Research
Sajilo Marmat Sewa conducted a thorough market research in 100 households and 50 business organizations and almost 70% households were facing problems such as; plumbing, electrical, electronic appliances, computer repairs and computer networking. Almost 80% business organization were interested in Sajilo Marmat Sewa idea.
Idea Validation & Registration
The idea validation struck a major milestone when Sajilo Marmat Sewa won an Intra-University business idea competition organized by Kathmandu University. As a reward the idea was incubated at Idea Studio, a nationwide Entrepreneurship Development Program aired on Nepal Television. After the completion of MBA, from February they worked to lay down the foundation, recruited technicians, and worked with vendors, and then finally registered the company on June 20th, and started the operation officially.
Currently, the Sajilo Marmat Sewa has built a network of more than 100 technicians who have already served more than 100 households in Kathmandu valley. Simultaneously, SMS has also been signing ‘Annual maintenance contract’ with different organizations.
In terms of the future plan, the Sajilo Marmat Sewa plans to build a digital platform using the web application and mobile application to facilitate the customers and the technicians in order to solve a prevalent problem using technology.
