HackClash – Nepal 2016, is the first event organized by three tech professionals, where the main goal is to generate ideas and develop solutions for the betterment of the Nepali community. Basically, hackathon is an event where young entrepreneurs from any background (IT, CS, Business, Agriculture/Vet, Law, Natural Sciences, Sociology and Arts etc.) team up to turn ideas into real tech products over a period of 24-36hours.
The idea of ‘HackClash-Nepal’ initially started out of a conversation with their co-friends Ashok Tamang (Howard University, DC and Google intern), Saurav Keshari Aryal (Howard University,DC and Google intern) and Bikalpa Neupane (currently at Penn State, BYU Alum and ex-Microsoft/ex-Overstock).
Talking to BlogorTech, Mr. Bikalpa Neupane, says that, We want students to think beyond mainstream Computer Science and IT disciplines and examine an issue from multiple perspectives, leading to a systematic effort to integrate the alternative perspectives into a unified or a coherent framework of analysis.
You will get an opportunity to interact with mentors (mainly Nepali), who have an experience working in reputed company like; Microsoft – USA, Amazon, Google- USA, Overstock, Ancestry, Twitter, Facebook, Oracle, TATA, and many more 500 Fortune Companies, which includes Nepali Startup Companies.
